Who we are
PiriGram is a fictitious business name of Honeyy LLC, a California limited liability company based in Los Angeles, California, United States. Honeyy LLC is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us through the contact form.
This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It is hosted on Microsoft Azure, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operations for a short period. We use the IP address of a request only to limit how many contact messages one connection can send.
The contact form
When you send a message we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose (if any), and your message. They are delivered to our mailbox by Azure Communication Services and kept there as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of our correspondence, at most 24 months after our last exchange, unless we enter into an engagement, in which case they are kept as part of that engagement's records. We do not share them with anyone else and we do not use them for marketing.
PopSkip in the browser
PopSkip stores your progress and settings on your own device in the browser's local storage. Nothing about your play is sent to us. There are no accounts and no advertising in the web version. The game sends anonymous usage events to our analytics service, described under Analytics below. Clearing the browser's site data removes everything the game stored.
PopSkip apps for iPhone and Android
The apps keep your progress and settings on your device, as the web version does. There are no accounts. The apps send the same anonymous usage events as the web version, described under Analytics below, and nothing else about your play. The daily reminder, if you turn it on, is a notification scheduled on your own phone; nothing is sent anywhere for it.
Optional videos. When you have no hints left, the app can offer a short video that adds one hint, up to three a day. You never have to watch one. The videos come from Google AdMob, Google's advertising service. The app requests no video, and shows no consent form or tracking question, until you first tap to watch one. From then on, when a video is requested or shown, Google receives information from your device such as its IP address, model and operating system, the app's identifier and, if you allow it, your device's advertising identifier, and uses it to choose, show and measure the ad and to prevent fraud. How Google uses this information is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before the first video, and Settings → Ad privacy choices lets you change it later. On iPhone, Apple asks whether videos may use your device's advertising identifier; the hint is the same whatever you answer, and you can change it in the iPhone's Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete the advertising identifier in your device's settings.
Analytics
PopSkip, in the browser and in the apps, sends anonymous usage events to Aptabase, an open-source, privacy-first analytics service, hosted in the United States: which screens and features are used (for example that a roll was started or finished, or a hint asked for), together with the game's version, the operating system and its version, the device model and the language. Once a day the game also sends how many days have passed since it was first opened on this device and the week that was; the date itself stays on the device. Aptabase derives the country from the IP address on its server and does not store the address. No device identifier, advertising identifier, account, name or contact detail is sent, and the events cannot be linked to you. We use them to see whether players come back and which parts of the game are played, and we keep them for at most five years.
Children
PopSkip's content is suitable for all ages, but the game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. The web version collects no personal data from anyone; the apps' optional videos are described above. The contact form is intended for adults.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the European Union, Türkiye under KVKK, and California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to us through the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.
International transfers
Our systems run on Microsoft Azure in the United States and Europe. Contact-form messages are processed by Azure Communication Services with data location in Europe and read by us in the United States. Anonymous analytics events are stored by Aptabase in the United States; they contain no personal data.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
